Sunglasses are closely related to music. Indeed, many artists use (and sometimes abuse) for some is even their trademark. On the occasion of the Grammy Awards, we are going together to review two musical trends associated with this fashion accessory.
-------------------------------------------------------
The current of rock music appeared in the 40's and did not cease to develop. Heavily influenced by rhythm and blues and country, the rock is characterized by wild rhythms and is mainly driven by electric guitar, bass and drums. When we talk about a rock look, we think of the leather, the biker jacket and especially the black sunglasses. This association is a sure value that many artists have used to create their image.
We can think of Elvis
Presley and his legendary golden pilot sunglasses, John Lennon and his
ever-rounded frame, Jimmy Hendrix was also adept in small round
sunglasses. We can also mention Bono and his pronounced taste for
colored glasses or Little Richard and his love for eccentric glasses.
-------------------------------------------------------
Popular music influenced by gospel and jazz, Rnb rhythms have made more than one dance. The artists who represent this movement are fervent followers of the sunglasses. They even allow eccentricities (and would have been wrong to deprive them) such as flashy colors, oversized shapes and ultra-colored lenses. With the return of the old school trend *, the looks have never been so colorful and uninhibited. We think here to
Rihanna
who has updated the 90's glasses, Bruno Mars who is a follower of the
funky glasses or even Master Gims we do not know without sunglasses. And
if we go back, we will remember a singer who had a great success in the
90's: Anastacia with his little glasses with colored glasses. This
model is still in the news mode.
